Getting to Elk Lake Resort<a href="https://maps.app.goo.gl/c7YLdji2euKWZNdf6" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Elk Lake Resort</a> is approximately 30 west miles of Bend, Oregon. FlightsPortland International Airport is 3.5 hours drive time to Bend and 4 hours to Elk Lake. Redmond Roberts Field Airport is 20 minutes drive time to Bend and 50 minutes to Elk Lake. Eugene Airport is 2.5 hours drive time to Bend and 3 hours to Elk Lake. Ground TransportationThere are many car rental options for driving up to Elk Lake. You might also consider renting an RV if you want to camp (see Where to Stay).

Travel

Part of the reason we chose this location is it's proximity to all the fun activities we enjoy in nature! If you want to go into the nearby wilderness area, you will need a permit (and they sell out fast!). <a href="https://www.recreation.gov/ticket/facility/300009?tab=tours" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Reserve</a> your permits now! As we get closer to the event we will coordinate some group activities (e.g., hike, mountain bike ride, yoga, paddleboard/kayak). If the cabins are full, and you don't want to rought it, it might be fun to rent a camper van or RV and stay in one of the campsites. Where to Stay

Dear friends and family, We love the humans you have brought into the world and into our lives, but Elk Lake is a small venue and we made the decision to prioritize our closest adult friends and family. We realize that not bringing your kids might create a hardship for you, so please reach out. We can look into babysitters and having on-site kids have their own supervised activity for the wedding ceremony and dinner.
